Two categories, each with its own logic
The key idea at Glacier is simple: different ages, different needs. That’s why the hotel has two spaces at once. Glacier Kindergarten is a licensed kindergarten for the youngest guests. Glacier Kids Space is a club for children from 5 to 17 years old. This is not a typical hotel “children’s corner with coloring pages”, but a full-fledged educational and entertainment infrastructure. Let’s analyze each separately.
Glacier Kindergarten: the first licensed kindergarten in Bukovel
The key word here is “licensed.” In Ukraine, hotels often offer babysitting services or playrooms, but a kindergarten with an official license on the territory of a resort is a rarity. At Glacier, it is a two-level nursery-kindergarten for the youngest guests, designed according to all standards of child safety and education.
What this means for parents in practice:
- Teachers with specialized education, not “just someone supervising”
- Thoughtful sleep, meal, play and learning activity schedules
- A space equipped for the needs of the little ones: from the correct table height to soft areas
- The ability to leave the child for a few hours or for the whole day while parents are on the slopes or at the spa

Glacier Kids Space: a club for children from 5 to 17
A space for those who are out of kindergarten but not yet ready to spend their vacation on their phones. And this is the age group that is most often overlooked in hotels.
Kids Space does things differently. There is a creative studio with master classes where children can try something new every day. Every day has its own theme: from "space" to "culinary", so there will definitely be no boredom. There are regular film screenings with treats, game quests, and entertainment events with animators. This is especially cool for teenagers 12-17, who are usually not seen in children's programs. Kids Space took into account that teenagers need their own formats: not "bunny jumping", but quests, creative challenges, and joint projects.
The main idea of the space is that every day is different. This means that the child will not have the usual "I'm bored" on the third day of rest.
What does this give parents?
The main thing here is not to hide the obvious: parents go to the mountains to relax too. And that's normal. While the children are in their own space, you can:
- Go skiing or hiking without saying "mom, I'm tired" after the first hour

Children's spaces are only part of the equation. The second part is the apartments themselves. Practical tips
A few points to consider in advance.
Booking children's spaces. During peak dates, places in Kindergarten and Kids Space are limited. Check availability when booking a room, especially if you are traveling with a child under 3 years old.
Activity schedule. Kids Space operates on a thematic schedule, which is usually posted a week in advance. If you have a specific request (for example, your child is a fan of cooking workshops), ask about the schedule in advance.
Clothes and things. For Kindergarten, bring a change of clothes, a favorite toy, and recommendations for a regimen (sleep, nutrition). Teachers will always take individual needs into account.
The child's age. If you are on the verge (for example, the child just turned 5), clarify where it is better to enroll him. Often, at a transitional age, it is more interesting in Kids Space than in kindergarten, but it depends on the character.
What is the result?
Glacier has done something that is still rather an exception for the Ukrainian hotel scene: it has raised children's infrastructure to the level of the hotel concept itself. Not an "additional service if there is time", but a full-fledged component of relaxation. And this is fundamentally changing the format of family vacations in the mountains.
