On January 1, 2026, Bukovel woke up different.
From the first hours of the new year, it became clear: this is not just a hotel opening. This is an event that changes the feel of the resort.
The Grand Opening of Glacier Premium Apartments, the largest hotel in Ukraine, was a day when the entire space around it came to life. The hotel was fully booked on the opening date, and Glacier turned into a center of festive movement, music, light, and emotions.
The celebrations began at 12:00. Throughout the day, Glacier lived in the format of a winter festival: DJ sets set the rhythm, large-scale photo zones and art installations were in operation, stilt walkers and animators appeared among the guests, and the promenade area was filled with walks, laughter, and smartphone cameras.
Specially created New Year's art objects - massive teddy bears and a central Christmas tree 7.5 meters high - instantly became symbols of the festive Glacier and the main points of attraction for photo shoots.
The space was designed for everyone. While the adults were immersed in the resort atmosphere, the children staying at the hotel enjoyed programs in the children’s center, and for all children — regardless of their accommodation — the Winter Fun Show took place in the Glacier glass cube throughout the day. Games, workshops, shows and festive activities made this day truly unforgettable for the youngest guests.
As dusk fell, Glacier changed its rhythm. The evening became the culmination of the day — a large charity concert, open to all comers, gathering thousands of guests. Glacier guests watched the event from the VIP area, and the stage became the main emotional center of the first evening of the year.
The host was Grigoriy Reshetnyk, and YAKTAK, TVORCHI, MONATIK, and DOROFEEVA appeared on stage one after the other. The light, sound, winter air, and music created a moment that didn't want to end.
But the Grand Opening had a deeper meaning. During the concert, 3,184,000 hryvnias were raised, and the project developer VD Group doubled this amount. 6,368,000 UAH, strengthening the charitable component of the event. It was an evening when the celebration naturally turned into real support - without pathos, but with tangible results.
At the time of its opening, Glacier Premium Apartments already functioned as a full-fledged resort complex. Three SPA centers Glacier Sky Spa, co-working, ski room with direct access to the ski slopes, children's center and a licensed kindergarten unique for Bukovel became part of a single logic of space - thoughtful, large-scale, without compromises in service.
In 2026, Glacier will continue to develop: a landscape zone and promenade circles will appear, which will combine walking routes with art objects, forming a new resort culture of Bukovel.
The Grand Opening of Glacier Premium Apartments was not just the start of the largest hotel in Ukraine. It was the day when the resort gained a new point of attraction. An event that is remembered. And a space that you want to return to.
